Dr. Francis Y. Cheng
Dr. Francis Cheng received his Bachelor of Science from the University of California Irvine and Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Upon graduation, he was appointed as a lecturer at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Optometry where he taught aspiring optometrists. He moved to Canada after a few years and started practicing in Richmond since 1994. Dr. Francis Cheng has been seeing patients of all ages in the community and was voted as one of the best eye doctors in Richmond from the Richmond News in 2016.
Dr. Daphne Cheng
Dr. Daphne Cheng received her Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia and Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University in Oregon. She was the recipient of the 2016 College of Optometrists in Vision Development Excellence in Vision Therapy Award for her clinical skills in diagnosing and treating patients with strabismus (eye turn), amblyopia (lazy eye), eye teaming deficiencies, vision-related learning problems and post-trauma/concussion vision syndrome. Daphne was also a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Society for her academic excellence.
Her optometric experiences include working at the US Air Force eye clinic in Hawaii and the Veterans Affair hospital in California treating patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration and other eye diseases. Daphne has also worked in private practices in Seattle and Portland specializing in dry eye treatment and vision therapy. In addition, she has provided free eye exams to patients in rural areas of Costa Rica.
